Paige's Baptism

On May 1st at 8:30 am, Paige became the newest member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. With daddy in Iraq, Grandpa Boyack Baptized and Confirmed her. She really wanted daddy to be there, but didn't want to wait a year to get baptized. She has been waiting for that day for a long time. I just want to tell her how proud daddy and I are of her. We love you Paige and love the sweet little girl that you are. Here are some pictures of Paige in her dress. She loves the horse picture.

Off to Iraq

Well, I know that it has been a long time since I have posted. It's not that nothing has happened, just the opposite. Life has been so crazy that I haven't really had time to sit at the computer without a little one telling me that it is his turn on HIS computer.

We moved at the beginning of April from Bountiful to Highland, and absolutely love it. We are (I think mom told me) 2.2 miles away from grandma and grandpa, which has been a blessing for me. 2 days after we moved in, John left for Alabama for a week long training for a job. He came home Friday night, and Sunday morning left again for San Diego for another training week only, he didn't get to come home after. They flew him to Kuwait for his next training and then off to Iraq. It was hard not seeing him before he left, but I think that it was easier on the kids this way. Thank goodness we found a place so close to family. I don't think that I would have been able to deal with this without their help. THANK YOU MOM AND DAD for all you have done!!!

The girls have made more friends here then at any of the other places that we have lived. They come home, do their homework and are off to friends till dinner. This is a great neighborhood. James started his preschool class on Tuesday and loved it. As soon as we pulled up he told me that he was going to have fun at HIS school with his friends. When I came to pick him up 3 hours later, they were coming in from playing outside, and here comes James pulling up the rear because he was pushing his classmate in his wheelchair. What a sweet picture that was:) Jack is as crazy as ever. He is just an absolute crack-up. He keeps me laughing, which is what I need so I don't get stressed out doing this alone.

It is going to be a trying year, but worth the sacrifice when daddy comes home. We miss him already. I am going to try to keep more updated on the blog so there is a diary of sorts for him to read. Hopefully James lets me on the computer more:):)
